Hi all I purchased a 2009 Fiesta just over 3 weeks ago. The last few days it's been taking a little while to start (from turning the ignition) so thought I'd test that a bit more tonight- I repeatedly turned the car on and off and then it just stopped turning on.

I do not know the codes or whatever, new owners, It is not in the warranty/ manual or book, only 30K miles on car, slipped a gear once coming down hill with the reduced tranny button on-took that off and there were no problems-till the little green light on the data screen.
If it's recently started doing this then you most likely have developed a wiring fault or a fault with the stereo that is bypassing the ignition connection. Expand. It most certainly can be retrofit to any fiesta, your already half way there having the right screen. Things to check to get an idea of what you need: Firstly remove your sat nav SD card then pull the trim up and off from the screen it's held in by 4 clips, second undo 2 screws (torx) holding in your screen.
